Today completes my first week in Germany! And boy was it a crazy one. Today we slept in again…not as late as yesterday though, and were awakened by the sound of our new roommate arriving! Her name is Sherin. This is going to get confusing…we now have Erin, Sharon, and Sherin! lol How funny is that?! We are all very curious what our other roommates name is going to be; she will arrive on Tuesday.
So this morning I decided to go see what they had to offer at the bakery downstairs. They had a small assortment and she was telling us that there was chocolate or raisin and I looked at a powdery one and asked what it was and she said Raspberry filled and I got so excited she probably thought I was crazy! I was like yes I want that! After breakfast we decided to try out the washing machine. Why the washing machine is in Spanish and we are in Germany…don’t ask me! lol I decided to put it on delicate just in case, since that is one of the few settings I could actually read. Our new roommie cooked us some noodles for lunch and then we watched some more Outsourced before heading to school to use the internet. All in all it was a pretty lazy day…tomorrow should be much more interesting as we are planning to travel to Weisbaden after class!
