Den Haag, Netherlands to Brugge, Belgium

Sunday morning, I got up early again to jump on a train and head to the Netherlands.  It was a 7 hour train ride to Den Haag (and this was on the fast trains).  Once I finally got there, I jumped on a tram and headed to Madurodam.  This is a museum that is a miniature replica of Holland.  It looked so real it was crazy!  It was so cool walking around all of Holland!  I made a quick stop in the souvenir shop and then headed back to the train station to jump on a train to Belgium.  At the train station, I had a few minutes to check out a little grocery store and inside I found the Joppie flavored potato chips I was wanting!  =)  I was so excited!  Then I jumped on the train and headed to Brugge!  We made a pit stop in Antwerpen to switch trains and there I got my first taste of a true Belgian Waffle!  It was covered in chocolate and soooo good!  

Once I got to Brugge I was looking for bus 6 or 16 because that was which one I was told to take to get to the hostel.  I was standing there looking lost when a guy that looked like he worked with the busses walked up to me and asked me where I needed to go.  He informed me that the numbers changed at night and he directed me to the correct bus.  The bus driver told me where I needed to get off at and after he pulled away, I was lost!  I didn’t see the hostel anywhere and I didn’t have a city map yet.  I started walking one way but it didn’t feel like I was going the right way so I turned around and then I found a map.  I was looking at the map trying to figure out where the street I needed to be on was, when this nice couple asked me where I needed to go.  I showed them the address and they pointed me in the right direction!  It was only about 300 meters away!  I got there and checked into my room to find that I was in a room full of guys!  There was some type of Frisbee tournament in Brugge and this group from France had reserved 13 of the 16 beds in the room and all of them were guys except for there was one girl!     There was one guy singing “I’m Sexy and I Know It” and then apologized and was like “I know, bad joke.” Lol it was hilarious!  After getting settled, I went to the reception area to use the wifi and then once the group left to go out for the night, I took my shower and went to bed.  There was a cute guy in the group that had invited me to come out with them, but I decided I was too tired.
