On Saturday, Nasha, Karly, and I jumped on a train and
headed to Europa-Park! If you don’t
know, this is a huge Amusement Park in the southern part of Germany. Inside you can visit different countries in
Europe such as France and Greece! After
a long 6 hour train ride, we reached the park around noon. You should have seen us…we were acting like
kids as we entered the park! We were so
excited! Once inside, we only had 6
hours to see the entire park! We had a
battle plan to hit all of the roller coasters and then go through and look at
the other stuff if we had time.
The first ride we came to was a roller coaster in the dark! It was in this giant silver ball and during
the ride you saw stars and lights…it was like you were traveling through the
solar system! After that ride, we went
to a bigger roller coaster that was outside…it was fun! Then we got one one that took you up inside
these towers and and then when you got the top the coaster started and while
going around all the turns and hills, you were spinning around! So half the time you would be going
backwards! And the other half of the time I was in the very front! Ahhh! Anyway, it was pretty small coaster.
After this one, my friends wanted to go on Blue Fire! This was the one ride I said I didn’t want to
go on because it went upside down. They
were like come on and I really didn’t want to wait for them to get off because we
didn’t have a lot of time in the park and that wouldn’t have been any fun! So I jumped in line. The entire wait I was freaking out and by the
time we got to the front of the line my eyes were starting to tear up…I was so
scared! We sat down and the ride and
before it even shot us out, I was crying!
And when it started moving I was screaming! I had my eyes closed and screamed the entire
time! I had no clue where in the coaster
we were and I couldn’t make myself open my eyes, I was asking Nasha if we had
just went around the upside down part and I guess she didn’t hear me otherwise
I didn’t realize her answer. But there
was one other upside down part…not a big loop, but a little spiral thing. And she was yelling at me to open my
eyes! I finally opened them right at we
were coming up on the spiral and I shut them again really fast and started
screaming again! That was the worst part
of it! Worse than the big loop! Finally the ride was over…and it wasn’t
actually as bad as I thought it would be, but I was shaking for like ever after
we got off!
Then we grabbed a quick drink at one of the snack stands and
jumped in line for the new big wooden roller coaster. This was the longest line we had to wait in;
it took about 30 minutes. We got so lucky that there were barely any lines and
it was great weather all day! After the disappointment of what was supposed to
be this big bad coaster, we decided to grab some food! We headed to Greece to get some Gyros and
Water! After eating, we went up into the
tower to look over the whole park. We
realized there was a coaster we hadn’t gone on; we thought it was a water ride,
but from the tower we realized it wasn’t.
But by the time we got to the entrance, we decided the line was too long
and we wouldn’t have time to go on before we needed to catch the bus.
So we decided to go grab some of the delicious, cheap cotton
candy we had passed earlier and then head out to the bus to beat some of the
crowd out of the park. We had so much
fun, even though I got sunburned! Then
we had a long 6 hour train ride back home.
On the ride home, Nasha was talking about Blue Fire and she was like “I
looked over and you were crying…like seriously crying and I was like I don’t
know if I should be sad too or keep having fun!” This made me like roll of the
floor laughing…my stomach was hurting so hard from laughing! Our train was also late and so we ended up
having to take a bus back from Wiesbaden because we missed the last train…which
made us get home even later because the busses take longer! Finally we got home, I took a quick shower
and jumped in bed because I had to be up early!
